Please pray for my Dad

Tomorrow is my dad's surgery. It's a major surgery, and I would just like to ask for prayer for God to be guiding the doctor and his team the whole time, and for a good outcome. My dad is a pretty amazing guy and we all love him so much, and we just want God's best for him.
Thanks.

Hmm, don't really have a title for this post

Nothing much going on, I just wanted to post some pictures from the last few weeks. First a picture of my beautiful family having Christmas day dinner and more pictures from that day. Then some ramdom pictures from after Christmas.
And here is Danny putting in our new dishwasher. Yea!! I have been washing dishes for quite a while now, since our dishwasher broke. But with our Christmas money and some money PG&E gave us for butchering more of our trees, we were able to get a new one. :-) And have I ever mentioned how nice it is to have a handy, smart, helpful son? Well, it is. :-)
Here is Daddy helping Jackson with his new "laptop".
And lastly, a couple of pictures from the night before the girls went back to CBU. .

Happy Birthday to my True Love....finally. :-)

Ok, so I got this new camera for Christmas, and I hadn't been able to figure out how to get my pictures on here, so I just avoided blogging, cause it's no fun to blog without pictures. But my sweet and patient husband finally figured it all out for me and showed me, and so now I'm back in business.
Anyway......last Sunday we celebrated Ralph's birthday after church, with his Mom. We had Ralph's favorites--homemade taquitos and spicy Mexican rice, and banana cream pie. Here the ever-helpful Jackson is all set to help with blowing out the candle. Then, on Tuesday, which was Ralph's real birthday, we celebrated again. :-) Samantha and Rebecca made him a cake. They also made these really cool (?) party hats. :-) And Daddy was a good sport and wore his. :-) Ok, so he looks a bit crazy here, but the important thing is, he's wearing it. :-)
We all (meaning the kids and I) pitched in our money, and gave it to him to buy a new computer monitor, cause his is going out, and this way, he won't have to bang on it to get to work anymore. :-)
I have more things to say, and more pictures to post, but I'm outta time. Now it's time for afternoon read-aloud, with something hot and yummy to drink. :-)
